History of Ando & Aston Physical TherapyGary Aston, PT, BS, CFMT originally opened the Anaheim Hills office in 1983. He hired Art Ando, DPT, MS, CFMT to replace him in 1985. Art became a junior partner the next year. Gary rejoined Art in 1990 and they renamed the new partnership Ando & Aston Physical Therapy. The Company is under constant development and together they have developed it into Orange County's premier manual therapy practice. In 2001 the Ando Studio, offering Pilates and yoga, was purchased from Elizabeth Ando and operates as the Wellness division of Ando & Aston. With her MBA education and consulting background, Elizabeth continues on as our COO/CFO. Commitment to EducationAndo & Aston remains committed to the education process of our colleagues, fitness professionals and the public as well. We host multi-day continuing education courses for graduate physical therapists as well as workshops for the general public, fitness professionals such as personal trainers, and Pilates, yoga, and dance instructors. Art was the Orthopedics professor at Chapman for 4 years, and he and Gary return there occasionally to deliver lectures.
